Zussman, Yehuda-Leib

Son of Chaya-Zippora and Zvi was born on the 7th of November 1928 in Jerusalem. On the night of April 22-23, 1948, a group of Golani Brigade soldiers came to conquer the town of Zemach, and one of the platoons was Yehuda Leib’s, they broke into the town and took over a part of it. At this point, British forces in the police and army camp near the town intervened, the connection between the platoons disconnected. on April 14, 1948, Yehuda Leib fell while bandaging the wound of a friend, and was brought to rest in Beit She’an military cemetery in Degania Aleph.
