Ziskovitch, Alexander

Alexander, son of Leah and Meir, was born on 25.5.1954 in Ness Ziona.Alex was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in early August 1972 and assigned to the Israel Air Force, where he was sent to the IDF Technical College in Haifa, where he took part in a ground-based radar technician course. After completing the course, he was placed in an Air Force radar unit, and was rewarded by his colleagues and commanders for his kindness and contribution to the social life of the unit and his willingness to invest every effort to fulfill his role efficiently. (October 14, 1973), a missile hit his radar position and he was killed. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Nes Ziona. Survived by his parents and brothers. After they fell, he was promoted to corporal.
