Daughter of Bracha and Pinchas. Shira demonstrated a strong desire to stand in her own right for her own economic needs, to be independent and to endure herself as an adult. We trusted her to know how to combine work during her military service, because we knew that she was a serious soldier. “On February 10, 1995, she was killed in a car accident when she returned from her work at night and her car veered away. She was eighteen years old. Shira was buried in the Kfar Saba military cemetery. She left behind her parents, a sister – Limor, two brothers – Adam Gal and Roy Ziskind, two grandmothers – Luba and Chaya and the mother’s husband – Alex Gal.
