Zeidel, Shai

Shai, son of Anat and Gad Zeidel, was born in 1984 in Jerusalem. A year and a half before his enlistment, he trained in the IDF preparatory course to improve his physical fitness, and in March 2003, Shai joined the paratroopers. He served for four years as a commander and he took good care of his soldiers. On the 25th of Elul (11.9.2004), as he was returning home for a vacation, his car turned over and he was killed on the spot. Shai was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Har Herzl in Jerusalem. he left behind his parents and siblings.
