Yehuda, Batya and Yitzhak, was born on the 11th of Adar 5714 (11.2.1954) in Moshav Ein HaEmek, where he studied at the religious elementary school in Ein HaEmek, and then studied for one year in high school He graduated from the “Amal-Yad Labanim” vocational high school in Ein HaShofet, in the automotive mechanics program, and was very modest and kindhearted: he radiated warmth and love and was loved by the youth of Moshav Ein HaEmek. He loved his home in the moshav and could not bear a long separation from home and from the family, so after one year in Jerusalem, he returned home to be close to his family and friends. He was an excellent soccer player and was a great soccer player and was a member of the Hapoel Ha-Po’el team in Ein Ha’emek, where he played and practiced all his spare time and played basketball for his favorite teams, At the beginning of May 1972 and assigned to the infantry. He was attached to the Golani Brigade and after completing basic training, he completed a course for combat medics. In the brigade’s training and operational activity, he was discovered as a dedicated and loyal soldier and an excellent medic. He gave his friends devoted care and was willing to risk his life to save a wounded friend. Although he was far from home and was preoccupied with operational activity and training, he tried to visit and visit his family during his service and helped his parents deal with the large family. When the Yom Kippur War broke out, his battalion was on the line of strongholds that protected the Golan Heights. The battalion fought stubborn and bitter battles against the enemy, who tried to capture the strongholds and break into the Golan Heights. In an enemy attack on October 7, 1973, Yehuda was injured when he tried to rescue a friend who lay wounded under fire and was transferred to the hospital, where he died of his wounds on 27 October 1973. He was laid to rest in the cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. Survived by his parents, three sisters and a brother. After his fall, he was promoted to sergeant. His parents donated a Torah scroll to the synagogue in Ein Ha’emek; The religious public school in Moshav Ein HaEmek is called “Beit Yehuda”, named after Yehuda.
