Zvi was sent to a Hebrew course, and in time he became accustomed to the atmosphere of the battalion and became a kind of “father” to the young soldiers and commanders who admired and respected him. During this period, he was proud of his service as a tank gunner. Zvi completed his artillery course as an outstanding trainee.
