Wilensky, Dov (“Dubi”)

Son of Yechiel and Rachel. He was born on August 30, 1948 in the Ma’ale Hachamisha group near Jerusalem. Dubi was drafted into the IDF in October 1966 and was attached to the technical unit of the Armored Corps. On the first day of the Six Day War, on the 26th of Iyar 5727 (June 5, 1967), Dubi fell when his half-track was hit by an enemy mortar shell while he was performing his duty with dedication and courage.
