Vishniya David

Son of Shmaryahu and Hannah. He was born on February 18, 1828 in Paris, the capital of France. As a child, the family moved to Belgium and the atmosphere of the house was all Judaism and Zionism that the child absorbed; He also belonged to the Dror youth movement, which trained him for his life in Israel. From his youth he became interested in mechanics and, after completing elementary school, began studying in a vocational high school for mechanics until the outbreak of World War II. His sister and brother joined the underground at the time, and when he grew up, he joined. After the war he returned to his studies. In 1949 he immigrated to Israel and quickly adapted to the new conditions in which he accepted with love all the ropes of absorption. His only concern was to find a suitable arrangement for his parents and his family, for he was a devoted and faithful son until his dying day. In 1950, he was drafted into the IDF and was assigned to a workshop unit and was devoted to a job manager with the rank of sergeant sergeant, after completing his compulsory service in the army. Although he was praised by his commanders, he went to Sinai and ordered a rescue workshop to repair the damaged vehicles, but when the fighting ended, on the 5th of Kislev 5711 (5/11/1956), he fell in the Battle of Kuntilla. He was buried at the military emergency cemetery in Eilat and on the 28th of Shevat 5718 (29.1.1958) he was laid to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
