Oscar loved classical literature, read a lot, was interested in politics, and discussed with his friends and family about these subjects, which were close to his Lev. He had an excellent stamp collection and he devoted much of his time to cultivating this hobby. Oscar was very popular with his friends for his pleasant and comfortable temperament. Was known among people as a kind, gentle and cultured person and had many friends. He was a loyal and devoted son to his family and would gladly help anyone who asked for help. At the beginning of October 1973, Oskar served as a liaison officer in one of the strongholds on the canal’s edge. The Yom Kippur War lost its traces. At first he was thought to have been taken prisoner with his friends in Maoz, but at the beginning of February 1974 his body was found and it was discovered that he was killed in the shelling on October 6, 1973. He was brought to eternal rest in the Kiryat Shaul cemetery.
