Turjeman, Claude


Claude, son of Zahava and Abraham, was born on 24 November 1948 in Casablanca, Morocco. In 1950 he immigrated to Israel with his family. Claude was drafted into the IDF in mid-November 1966 and assigned to the Engineering Corps, where he was trained as a sappers and then sent to a battalion training course, where he was always an excellent soldier and an excellent professional. He was unable to accept the evil of the decree and made great efforts to hire a lawyer to regain his medical profile, and after his victory he was returned to combat duty and assigned to the Paratroopers Brigade as a saboteur. 7 Tishrei 5734(12.10.1973), while taking part in a tour of the Khan-Arnabeh village, the armored vehicle he was traveling in was hit by an anti-tank bomb, and Claude was killed on the spot and left behind by a wife and son, parents, brothers and sisters.
