Trudy, Hani

Hani, son of Temima and Trudy Trudy, was born in Kfar Samia in the Western Galilee in 1971. After completing his high school studies, Hani joined the IDF and served as a combat soldier in the Druze unit, Battalion 299. In May 1993, a year after his discharge from the IDF, Hani was recruited to the Israel Police, and five years later he moved to the police station in Carmiel, where he served as a researcher. In 2006, Hani asked to move to the Kiryat Shmona station as a scout so that he could study for an academic degree. He was outstanding in his professionalism and in his good relations with the citizens. Senior sergeant Sergeant Hani was killed in operational activity on March 31, 2013. He was forty-two years old when he fell. He was laid to rest in the Kfar Samia cemetery.
