From the early years of his childhood, he grew up in the village and was educated on the work of the land, and he loved agriculture and invested most of his time and energy in it, and he was a reasonable young man who loved to get to the depth of the problems he encountered. Despite his successes in various fields – in studies, in social life, and in forging friendships with his teachers and mentors – Naphtali never boasted of being humble and humble. He was very attached to his family and helped his parents work in agriculture, fruit and vegetable crops, and suggestions for streamlining the industry. He was a bad friend to his brothers and sisters and helped as much as he could to his sister, a year younger than her. Naftali loved sports and being strong and strong, he excelled in lifting weights and running. He was deeply religious and in the synagogue of his school he served as cantor and as a reader of the Torah on Shabbat. In the framework of the school, he was active in the Gadna, and when he grew up volunteered for the Civil Guard, he was recommended to participate in a camp for agricultural youth in the Volcani Center in Beit Dagan, and his love for agriculture led him to join the “Nahalat” branch of Bnei Akiva after completing his studies at the school Middle School. Naftali was drafted into the IDF in November 1976 and volunteered for the Nahal Brigade. He was loved by his commanders and succeeded in everything he did.
