Thinness, Ido

Thinness, Ido

Son of Jonah and Nissim. He was born on the 29th of Elul 5739 (August 29, 1979) in Tel Aviv, the third son, brother to Asaf the eldest and the middle volunteer, and at the age of two Ido stood out with his great curiosity and ability to dismantle and assemble things. Ido is a mischievous student, but he is outstanding in his knowledge, his quick grasp and his high grades, and as a gifted child, it was clear that Ido would move to a high school that suited his students, and so he came to the engineering school near Tel Aviv University. Was an outstanding student who was awarded certificates of appreciation and prizes every year for his grades, his works and his help to others. He participated in a scientific project at the Beilinson Hospital, where he was always a modest person, but with all his heart, Ido was a central figure among an elite group of youth who wanted science and computers and was one of the founders of the Israel Science Association And he helped to organize conferences and meetings, and anyone who met him or spoke with him on the Internet could not help but be impressed by his good qualities, and he always served as an address for help, information, and soul-searching. And lots of listening to music. He particularly liked the Beatles and the Spice Girls. When Ido was in the 11th grade, Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated, and the trauma of the murder left him with a strong impression and expressed his feelings in his poem: “The man who led wars / the man who established governments, the leader, the MK and the minister – “The eye sees and the brain does not realize that our prime minister is dead, that the man whose hands for peace were outstretched, is now calmly resting,” he never knew, and never will, that while he was singing and speaking on the stage, He sent the message of peace, “In fact, in the valley of the shadow of death, he has gone.” But his path of peace will not cease / his vision and do another miracle – for the only cure for what our eyes saw – his tribe and his hope will console us. After graduating from high school, Ido was admitted to the academic reserve, but after many courting, the IDF decided to give up the reserves and enlist in the IDF, knowing that his skills would greatly contribute to the army. He joined the army at the end of November 1997. Despite his aversion to rigid frameworks, He completed his basic training as a “exemplary apprentice trainee.” At the end of basic training, Ido was assigned to the technical department in the industry, which deals with the provision of radar and communications solutions for the operational needs of the green forces. In the absence of an appropriate security classification, Ido was forced to work in a room isolated from the rest of his unit. Despite this, Ido did not complain and even prevented his parents from intervening in the matter on his behalf. Ido was highly respected by his commanders and teammates and won second place in the Technology and Logistics Division for his contribution to the development of the Alon radar, providing radar warning and information about the “Crow” missile, and within twelve seconds. Ido was killed in the course of his duty on Monday, August 2, 2000. He was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, leaving parents and two brothers, and his parents eulogized him: “Ido, as a meteorite, Our vision, your wisdom, your self-conscious embarrassment. We watched you as a son, as a brother, and we loved the boy. We were moved by you as a boy, and you, as you always do, hide with embarrassment and humility a solution to a problem that was not. New ways as a hidden explorer broke out, as a soldier, like a non-Jew on the defense and parashat and went to: Shlomo and Pythagoras, Maimonides, Socrates, Einstein and GaliLau, Oppenheimer and Newton. “In his condolence letter to the bereaved family, Lt. Col. Oren Eitan, the unit’s commander, wrote:” Ido has served in the Code and Security Center for more than two and a half years. During his first months in the unit, he had outstanding professional abilities, along with the qualities of kindness, dedication, joy of life and helping others. “Ido was part of a development team that completed a major project in the unit last year, which is operationally operational and contributes greatly to the security of the state.” Ido recently joined an emergency project that contributed to the security of the soldiers on the front. For this, the project team received, and witnessed, great appreciation from the commanders of the Israel Defense Forces. In his work Ido came to excellence and professional perfection. “Ido was a regular and active participant in the website of the Ayal HaKoreh, a magazine for cultural and current affairs, and when he learned of his death, the site opened a page in memory of him and hundreds of his surfers. “From the beginning Ido was prominent in his sense of humor, in his wisdom and in his broad knowledge, and above all in his willingness to help others,” wrote Liron Neumann. With all these talents. More than once it happened that he had logged on to the Internet to check something in some esoteric dictionary or website to answer a question that no one else would have been able to answer. “Ido, you were a wonderful person, and it was a privilege to meet you.” Hagai Giller wrote: “… Ido was always the special type – an unmatched intellectual on the one hand, and a man who was amazingly entertaining on the other. Which makes it even more sad. People like him do not come easily … “Shai Cohen wrote:” Ido Razon. Where are there other people like this man … I have known many people in my life, I have known friends who lost fighters, but I did not know anyone like Ido. I have never met a man who is the epitome of honesty on earth, a good man in a difficult lesson to find, a man whose personal qualities have overshadowed his great wisdom … a man without whom the world is poorer today. Poorer, more honest, more responsible, more kind, and more intelligent. The memory of this good and wise man, the man who will never grow older, will accompany me forever. “The parents wrote:” Ido was the favorite of the extended family and the size of the love for him. Ido’s death opened a big hole in our hearts that it is doubtful that it will ever be possible to fill. The longing for his love, his sense of humor, his good heart and his heart will always accompany us, yet the only consolation that his life, cut off in their hearts, was full and fascinating and that he had affected the lives of so many people who would always remember him. As the movie he loved said, “The light that shines twice as brightly will only shine half the time. “The conference of the Israel Science Fiction Association, held after the fall of Ido, was dedicated to him and at the opening of his speech, he was reminded:” During the years of the two organizations’ activity, Ido has been active in almost every activity, Which was needed and helped anyone who asked. He was a heartfelt fan, loved Star Trek and knew more than any other fan. Ido liked science fiction and became a regular guest in the weekly lectures of the Association, he would come with his brother Assaf and funny everyone who was around him. He was us, he was like us, a boy in the heart who would stay forever, a charming guy who loved everything about our common subject, he was a friend of most of us and he would be missed. … Ido was happy to know that you are still laughing, watching movies and reciting their lines by heart, still hearing lectures and still enjoying themselves. Always remember that there used to be a guy who did all these things, and this year, 20That he is no longer here, you do it for him and his memory. Ido, always remember you. “On the first anniversary of his downfall Ido eulogized the society:” … Ido was a lively and friendly guy who always wanted to help and contribute. He had been a member of the club from the day he had been set up and was a real Treckie to take an example. Some of you may remember him as the organizer of the Star Trek quiz quiz at Icon. … some of you, and if I may guess, then most of you, knew him one way or another and remember what a charming guy he was. But if there is something very striking about Ido’s stupidity is his amazing ability to remember the smallest details and find all the errors of logic and continuity that Star Trek so much. He wrote a ‘Nitpicking’ guide to ‘Star Trek 8 – Encounter’ and in this story he touched on a Star Trek and her confused journey. Ido’s father was killed a year ago, and since then he has been missing a very important part of his life as a good friend: “Six years after the Six Ribs of the Star of David symbol of our flag. Today we remember Ido’s memory even when war is waged in Israel. Shed a tear at him and at the same time feel pressure in the chest on every casualty and wounded at both ends of our country. Few know that Iddo was among a group of sensor developers who received the sound of the missiles that enabled IDF soldiers in the north to seek shelter from missiles, and I believe that this type of system now allows the residents of the north to find shelter within those precious seconds of the alarm. Izzo was one of the founders of the Science Fiction Association, and his brother, and especially his brother Assaf, continue on his path, and Asaf writes to this day, And the founders of the circle of spectators in the series with which he and Ido and her burning fans followed: “But every community is a boy Isa one and two in our case, that above all it was a series of both of us, together we discovered it and managed it from beginning to end because it was a series of both and now it remains only mine. Dedicated to the memory of my brother Ido I loved. ” Eight years after his death, the mother wrote: “It has been eight years now and it still feels like yesterday, when the world collapsed on us, and it is hard to describe the inner pain without knowing the reason. Walking along the path of memory is not necessarily watery eyes, but with time we feel a change in our feelings, like the seasons of the year, but our memories and love for you have not diminished, because those who are not and we love are always beautiful, and you were so beautiful. We are proud to be your parents and your brother and today, we feel like yesterday, and so will we feel tomorrow that you are with us, Contents, gives us the power to live on. Rest in peace, my son. ” Ido’s parents, together with his brothers and teachers at the engineering school, established a scholarship fund in his honor. Until the closure of the institution, scholarships were awarded to students for excellence and for their contribution to the school. To this day, some of his teachers from elementary school and high school, together with his friends, come to the annual memorial, all thanks to his social personality and his love of man.
