Tal, Reuven (“Rubka”, “Robella”)
Reuven, son of Yosef and Ruth Tal, was born on July 30, 1932 in Berlin, Germany. The family immigrated to Israel and settled in Jerusalem, where he grew up and was educated. From time to time he was called up for reserve duty. He participated in the Sinai Campaign – and even during the Six-Day War was called to serve, and on the second day of the battles, on the 27th of Iyar 5727 (June 6, 1967), he fell in the camp as a result of the explosion of the Topolov. He left a wife and three children. Reuven was brought to rest in the cemetery in Megiddo.
