Sinai, Iris

Iris, daughter of Esther and Wolf Sinai, was born in 1989 in Eilat. Iris joined the IDF on January 7, 2008. After basic training, she began a military training period in the Signal Corps. On April 15 of that year, she was stationed at the Nevatim Air Force Base. Iris served in the Construction Unit for about a year, until the day she fell. Corporal Iris Sinai fell during her service on the 28th of Iyar (22.05.2009). She was nineteen and a half when she fell. She was buried in the military cemetery in Eilat.
