She was born on 24 May 1984 in Jerusalem,On 21 November 2002 Liron enlisted in the IDF, and after completing basic training, she was assigned a training course at the Tzrifin base. Liron loved the role, the atmosphere, and the guys at the base. “Liron had a lot of joy in her life, she was always happy and laughed and was active and active, and the reservists with whom Liron worked loved her passionately, she understood them, came to them, and was always attentive to their needs.” The thread of Liron’s life was cut off on 9.9.2003. That day Liron rushed home because she and her mother had decided to go out together. She left the Jaffa Gate of the Tsrifin camp and waited for the scheduled lift at the crowded bus stop. Not long after that, a suicide bomber from the Hamas organization arrived wearing an explosive belt and carrying a bag containing metal shrapnel, and blew himself up at the soldiers and civilians standing at the hitchhiking station. Liron suffered a serious injury to her head and was rushed to Assaf Harofeh Hospital. Eight soldiers and soldiers were killed in the attack, and dozens were injured. Liron struggled for her life for seventy-two days during which she underwent complicated operations. At times it seemed that she was beginning to recover, and she was even transferred to Beit Levinstein, but her condition deteriorated again and she was returned to the hospital. On the 19th of Cheshvan 5764 (19.11.2003) Liron died of her wounds, and she is nineteen and a half years old. The next day she was laid to rest in the Kiryat Shaul military cemetery. She left behind her parents and two brothers. After her fall she was promoted to sergeant.
