Yom Tov, son of Avraham and Simchah Shrem, was born on February 1, 1943, in Jerusalem. He studied at the “Talmud Torah” school in the Yemin Moshe neighborhood. After taking part in the army, he went on reserve duty from time to time. On the second day of the Six-Day War, on the 27th of Iyar 5727 (June 6, 1967), Yom Tov fell in battle in Jerusalem, and was buried in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
