Yitzhak, son of Rachel and Moshe, was born on May 5, 1950 in Kiev, Russia. In his hometown he had gone through his childhood and he was a cheerful and playful boy like all the children. He loved his family and was a devoted son to his parents and a wonderful companion to his three sisters. He respected his parents very much and behaved with respect to them. Most modestly, he never asked his parents to buy him luxuries or give him pocket money, and with the little money his parents gave him, he would buy them small gifts or buy things missing at home. Yitzhak was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in early February 1971. After completing basic training, he completed a course in the Engineering Corps, where he was assigned to a combat unit and was a good soldier and devoted friend. When he came home on vacation, tired and exhausted, he tried not to bother his mother, and even prepared and served coffee and sandwiches to the other members of the family, and when the Yom Kippur War broke out he and his unit were sent to the Suez Canal front And participated in the construction of bridges and combat engineering operations, and in his capacity as an operations sergeant did his duty with courage On the 19th of Tishrei 5734 (19.10.1973), as usual, he passed between the positions and assisted the soldiers in their work, and the enemy planes suddenly attacked the area and was hit and killed in the bombing He was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa, leaving behind his parents and sisters, and was raised to the rank of First Sergeant.
