Shiu, Moshe

Son of Frieda and Avraham, was born in February 1929 in Aleppo (Aleppo), Syria. Moshe immigrated to Israel without receiving the consent of his mother and brother with a group of young people from Syria in September 1945. He joined his group working in Afula and acquired a good position in thanks to his kindness and education. Moshe invested great energy in his work and won the recognition of friends and mentors. On the 6th of Iyar, 15.5.1948, Moshe fell in battle on the day after the establishment of the State of Israel. He was buried in Ayelet Hashahar. On Elul 27, September 21, 1949, he was laid to rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak.
