Shechter, Moshe-Yitzhak

Son of-Esther-Faya (Pua) and Shalom-Dov was born on the 7th of Nissan, March 20, 1918, in the town of Novoselce, Romania, to a well-to-do Hassidic family, blessed with sons. He joined the Zionist movement for 17 years and was a member of the Bietar movement. At the beginning of 1940 he immigrated to Israel via the city of Solina, and after four months he arrived in Eretz Israel in December 1939. He fell on 4 Iyar, May 13, 1948. He left behind a wife and daughter, Shlomit.
