Shativi, Sivan


Daughter of Ivonne and Rahamim, she was born on April 2, 1984, at the Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon, a young sister to Nitza, Rafi and Zion. Sivan grew up and was educated in Kiryat Malachi. Sivan, who from an early age showed love and a special talent for drama and dance, used to organize events and everyone gathered around her on the dance floor, spreading joy and laughter environment. On 4 May 2003, she enlisted in the army. At the end of basic training, she went to the course of court registrations in Tzrifin. At the end of her training she joined the staff of the Southern District Military Court and received a very responsible position. During her very short service, only two weeks old, the beautiful girl managed to leave her mark on everyone. Her commanders say that her impressive and warm presence could not be ignored. Everywhere she brought with her light and joy. On 15 Av, August 13, 2003, as she made her way to her friend Yossi, Sivan got off a bus near the village of Warburg and crossed the road. Then a truck arrived and cut off her life. Sivan was brought to rest in the military section of the Sde Uziyahu cemetery at the age of nineteen. Sivan left behind her parents, sister, two brothers and her friend Yossi.
