Ben Berta nee Yisonski and Zeev Blumenthal, was born on July 13, 1962, in the city of Vilna, Poland. On 21 March 1933 he immigrated to Israel with his parents and brother. He joined the Irgun underground and participated in its activities. On the morning of March 27, 1948, in the morning, a large convoy left Jerusalem to bring supplies and reinforcements to the Gush Etzion bloc and to join the Haganah, The convoy arrived at Gush Katif without any problems, but was delayed in place over the planned due to unloading and loading problems, allowing the Arab forces to organize and call for forces in the area. To reach a room, about two kilometers south of Bethlehem. Instead, a large checkpoint was erected, which the armored vehicle, which broke through the checkpoints, could not overcome and remained stuck there. The armored vehicle was in heavy fire and most of the fighters were wounded. In the evening Molotov cocktails were thrown on the armored vehicle and it flared up. Three soldiers managed to get out of it, and the commander of the armored vehicle blew it up, on the wounded who were in it, and Aryeh among them, on the 16th of Adar 2, 5708 (March 27, 1948). He was buried in Sanhedria in Jerusalem. On the fifteenth of Cheshvan 5711 (15.11.1951), he was laid to rest at the military cemetery at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem
