Sharon, Assaf (Assi)

Assaf, son of Tova and Shlomo Sharon, was born in 1978 in Jerusalem. In July 1996, he enlisted in the army and chose to serve in the Nahal Brigade. Asi served in the Ordnance Department at the battalion headquarters, Between the outposts and the workshops. Y On the 13th of Tevet (January 1, 1999) Assi fell during his service at the age of twenty. After his fall, he was promoted to the rank of sergeant. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl and left behind his parents and four brothers.
