Shapiro, Benjamin (Benny)

The son of Miriam and Aryeh was born on June 14, 1914, in the city of Bialystok, Poland, In 1922. The family settled in Tel Aviv, and Benjamin joined the “HaNoar HaOved” youth movement. got married and had had two children. During the War of Independence, he participated in the battles of Gesher and Sejera On the 6th of Av 5708 (August 11, 1948) he fell during the dismantling of a minefield in Ginosar and was brought to eternal rest in the Ginosar cemetery.
