He completed his high school studies at Yeshivat Nahum in Bat Yam and studied Torah studies at the Torah Yeshiva in Rehovot and in the professional Yeshiva Torah and Hora in Tel Aviv. Moshe, or Mushon as they used to call him, was a Yaffa, clever, cheerful, playful boy. These qualities made him the center of society. He felt good about people. At the beginning of April 1978, Moshe was drafted into the IDF and assigned to the Armored Corps, where he served as a caretaker, storekeeper, clerk, assistant to the foreman in the unit, and he fulfilled all his duties with dedication and loyalty On 15 June 1978, In his letter of condolence to the family, his commanding officer wrote: “The late Moshe, in his lifetime, succeeded in making peace in the unit and fulfilling his duty with meticulous precision. In the hands of his co-workers, left us with sad and Yaffa memories, and Yaffa and silent works of his hands stand out in every corner of the unit. ” In his memory, the family established a charity fund, Zikhron Moshe, to grant loans to young Torah-observant couples.
