Schlesinger, Chaim
Haim, son of Miriam and Aryeh, was born on May 14, 1951. He studied at the Komemiyut elementary school in Bnei Brak and then completed his studies at a vocational high school in Bnei Brak. After three years of study he was certified as a locksmith and worked in his profession until he was drafted into the army Haim was a tall, green-eyed, quiet and responsible young man who always performed every task he was assigned with efficiency and self-discipline. He was proud of his profession, very organized and very much loved by his many friends Haim was drafted into the IDF at the beginning of May 1969. After successfully completing basic training, he was assigned to serve in the Golani Brigade . In a letter to the bereaved parents, Defense Minister Moshe Dayan said: “Haim was a dedicated soldier and a loyal friend, loved by everyone who knew him.”
