Together with Yishai Shechter, Lieutenant Lior Ramon, Staff Sergeant Idan Gabriel, Staff Sergeant Eshel Amir Ben Moshe and Sergeant Yaniv Roimi also participated in the battle. Yishai was promoted to lieutenant after his death. He was twenty-one years old when he fell. It was the first space to be laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Kedumim.
