Saadia, Liran

Liran, the eldest son of Michal and Zion Saadia, was born in Kiryat Shmona on April 29, 1985. At the end of November 2003, Liran chose an elite unit and served as a liaison in the Egoz reconnaissance unit. First sergeant Liran Saadia was killed in a battle in southern Lebanon on July 20, 2006. Liran, twenty-one years old, was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shmona. Survived by parents, brother and two sisters.
