Roth, Dan (Pinchas)

Dan, son of Ruth and Asher Roth, was born in 1981 in Holon. On December 1, 1999, Dan enlisted in the air force. Dan fell on duty on June 25, 2002, after crossing the road at the pedestrian crossing at the Pardesiya junction, and was run over by a traffic police van. He was rushed to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva in critical condition. The doctors struggled for his life, but their efforts failed and Dan died of his wounds. He was twenty-one when Dan fell. He was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Pardesiya. Survived by parents, sister – Shiri and brother – Oren. After his fall, he was promoted to Staff Sergeant.
