Son of Nathan and Ora. He was born on October 27, 1941, in Kibbutz Eilat Hashachar, where the War of Independence broke out, along with all the children of the kibbutz, to Haifa, where he began his first grade in a school that was opened especially for the evacuated children. In 1952 the family moved to Kibbutz Hagoshrim, and Arnon completed his studies at the elementary school of the neighboring Kibbutz Dafna, and in 1956 it was decided to absorb children who had completed their studies in elementary school to continue their studies in the kibbutz and to open a class The “Dror” group, composed of Hagoshrim children and foreign children, Meter Follow Arnon classes I to XI. The group spent the last academic year at Kibbutz Ein Harod. Arnon was well integrated into the school and social life, and to the impressive graduation party he contributed to his merry chants, which he composed with a good spirit of mischief and humor. From childhood, Arnon was connected to the nature and landscapes of the country. He was educated as an agriculturist and loved the work of the land. Agricultural work was a sacred mitzvah for him. A factor of deep personal satisfaction and an expression of the internal relationship to soil and vegetation. He deepened this connection with learning and reading. Arnon traveled extensively throughout the country, and every trip was an operation that had to be carefully prepared and then enjoyed every moment, during the summer vacation. In 1958, he participated in a seminar for counselors from the Kibbutz Ha-Meuchad division in Afek, and since then he has been active in training. As a boy and his youth, Arnon traveled twice for trips abroad with his mother. He was very impressed with the views of Switzerland and England and expressed them in his records. He decided not to enlist in the IDF immediately after completing his studies, but to give his first year of service to the movement, a year that every member of the kibbutz dedicates to the movement before or after his military service. Arnon was drafted into the IDF in October 1961 and volunteered for the Paratroopers Brigade. He progressed quickly and successfully in his position, completing basic training and parachuting. Arnon stood out in his aspiration to order and to meet all the strict requirements during his service, and he saw the army as an essential tool for maintaining his army service. He enjoyed his role and his comrades in the Sayeret, and enjoyed the tours, on foot and in the vehicle, in the landscapes of the country, and after his military service Arnon returned to work in his kibbutz and married his girlfriend from childhood – And in 1974 their third son was born, Arnon devoted every hour In 1971, Arnon began to study at the Faculty of Agriculture of the Hebrew University of Rehovot, in the field of field crops, and despite his academic break when he was forced to break out of the Yom Kippur War, He returned to his kibbutz and devoted all his energy to the two focal points of his life – the family and the children – the development of the cotton industry, and during the years following his discharge, Arnon was called to serve in the Six Day War Division in the conquest of the Rockefeller Museum and the Old City. During the Yom Kippur War, he was among the trench’s trainees and took part in the difficult battles that took place across the Channel. On 25.11.1975, Arnon fell while serving in active reserve duty. He was laid to rest in the cemetery on Kibbutz HagMinisters. He left behind a wife, daughter, two sons, parents, sister and brother.
