Ben Hanna and Israel. Born on December 3, 1975 in Tel Aviv, the eldest son of his parents. He studied at the “Sha’ar Ha’arim” elementary school in Holon and completed his high school studies in electronics and computers at the ORT school in the city, and his classmates remember him as a great mischievous person, He was a talented sportsman and was especially talented in basketball and swimming, and was drafted into the IDF in July 1993 and was assigned to the Intelligence Corps, where he served as an electronics technician. As in civilian life, as a soldier, Ofer was always full of energy and joie de vivre, with a sense of humor and loving people, willingly joined every mission, a central figure in every social event. His friends called him “Bambi”. He fulfilled his military role with dedication and a high level of professionalism, and discovered the ability to improvise and invent. He served in the Lebanese sector for long periods of time and was accompanied by field security operations. During Operation Grapes of Wrath, Ofer served as head of the team, but in practice he served as an officer and won the assessment of his commanders. Ofer died on June 3, 1996. After his death, he was promoted to the rank of sergeant and left behind his parents, two younger sisters – Ayala and Dafna, and her friend Lilach Ofer was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Holon, Moshe was a superior soldier, the mainstay of the unit, resourceful and of a high personal standard. It belonged to a special species that is not found every day. He was very motivated, and his work was always pleasant and enjoyable. Moshe contributed to the others from his experience and professionalism, and forged a unique relationship with his commanders and friends. “In his memory book, his friends wrote to the unit:” Ofer, always with wild hair and rolling laughs / only we knew, Ofer of the army / Ofer of operations, We wanted to travel with you, no matter where / and it does not matter for how long, because you are our heart. “
