Partush, Shlomo
Shlomo ben Yosef and Mazal. He was born on the 11th of Adar 5705 (March 5, 1955) in Rehovot. He was kind, sociable, full of joie de vivre, always willing to help others and was a devoted, loyal son to his parents, who used to consult him in many areas and usually accepted his opinion. Shlomo was drafted into the IDF in mid-November 1973 and assigned to the Ordnance Corps. In May 1974, he was granted the rank of First Private, and he soon acquired experience and knowledge in his work. He was accepted and loved by his comrades and commanders. In September 1974, he was awarded the rank of corporal. In January 1976, he was given the rank of sergeant. On the 18th of Iyar, May 17, 1976, Shlomo fell in the line of duty, and was laid to eternal rest in Beit Elami Ramla. Is survived by his parents, brother and two sisters. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family-commander wrote: ” Shlomo was pleasant, loyal and reliable, always willing to help others and carry out any task beyond what is needed. May his memory be blessed. ” His family donated a Torah scroll in his memory.
