Ozeri, Joseph
Yosef, ben Bonia and Shalom, was born on January 14, 1953 in Jerusalem.. Yosef was drafted into the IDF in early November 1971 and assigned to the Nahal Brigade. After basic training he underwent a course and was appointed as a certified kashrut inspector. While serving as a kashrut inspector, he also served as a fighter. He was a dedicated and responsible soldier. He soon became fond of all the soldiers of the unit and was accepted for his easy nature and his honesty and his loving attitude to everyone. On the 23rd of Iyar 5734 (23.4.1974), while driving in the area of the Jordan valley, he drove in a car in the area of Psa’el, where he went over a mine and Yosef was injured and killed, he was laid to rest in the military section of the Kiryat Shaul cemetery, Five brothers and three sisters
