Ovadia, Moshe

ben Miriam and Yitzchok, was born on the 3rd of Elul (19.8.1928) in the Old City of Jerusalem. His mother died when he was a child. Moshe joined the Hanoar Haoved Organization in Tel Aviv and joined the Haganah and took care of his brother and his sisters. Moshe participated in battles in the areas of the Tel Aviv school and fell during a punitive action in the village of Salameh on the 18th of Adar 5708 (28.2.1948), after performing his role heroically in the attack on the village. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak.
