Osterman, Leon (Aryeh)


Son of Paula and Meir. Born in Copenhagen Denmark on 10.4.1910 in a Zionist family that fled from Russia after the October Revolution, when he was about twenty years old, he left for Canada and the United States but found no place and returned to Denmark. In 1936, he joined the cooperative to build roads in the Carmel Forest, and served as a volunteer in the Carmel Forest, where he moved to Tel Aviv and from there to Jerusalem, Hadera and Haifa. Where he married Ahuva, who was born in Cairo, bought a plot of land and planned to build their home And that “the new settlement on Mount Carmel.
