Daniel, son of Sarah and Leo, was born on the 22nd of Elul 5713 (August 22, 1953) in Hadera. He attended the Yeshurun religious elementary school and completed his high school studies at the “Noam” midrasha in Pardes Hannah. Danny was an excellent student, diligent and diligent. He edited the newsletter, was one of the organizers of the school choir and was accepted and loved by his friends and teachers. In addition to editing the school newsletter, Danny was interested in photography and in the lab where he worked in developing photographs. Another hobby that “robbed” of most of his spare time was reading books. Danny was a member of the Bnei Akiva youth movement and participated in various social activities organized within the framework of the movement. Daniel was drafted into the IDF at the end of July 1971 and was assigned to the Armored Corps, and after completing basic training, he underwent a course for tank drivers and became a combat soldier in the Armored Corps, where he joined the Har Etzion Yeshiva in Alon Shvut in Gush Etzion. But he was also fascinated by the image of his father, the doctor, who helped the needy and the sick, and he told his family about his plan to combine medical studies with deeper study of Torah, According to him, it is not only the ear that he hears but also the “listening Lev.” During the Yom Kippur War, Danny fought with his unit on the front 10.
