In a letter of consolation to his brother, his commander, the assistant of the commanding rabbi, wrote: “Who like you, as a brother who grew up beside him for a long time, knows how great the loss of a dear, noble and noble soul is, We are all shocked, do not understand, do not believe that we will not be able to see Yankele again, his constant smile, the good spirit he instilled among those around him, and the creative passion that once prevailed in him. Our sages have already said that the righteous, their good deeds are the true memory And we have no choice but to follow in his footsteps and adopt his good and positive deeds for the benefit of others, the IDF and all of Israel. His brother established a memorial corner in his place of work.
