In his luminous face and the joy of life that broke out he knew how to support his friends, to encourage and to help. “Ever since I met you, your smile, the million dollar smile, has always been there, to do me good, to do everyone good, to cheer and cheer, to spread peace and light.” Noam absorbed the great love that his parents and family lavished on him with a sense of pride and appreciation. His brother, a fan of the tyrant, and lavished much love on his sister Shimrit, who was very attached to her. Respecting his parents was a supreme and sacred value for him, and this was expressed in his warm and loving attitude toward his grandparents, and after his enlistment he tried every Shabbat holiday to visit and warm them. Noam believed in personal development alongside natural flow, and the verse “Her ways, ways of pleasantness and all its paths of peace” was a guiding light. Everyone called him “peacemaker” and in his angelic smile was a job of calm and power. With his nobility and grace, he conquered all his vision and planted a sense of security in them. He respected every human being out of tolerance and trust. “The likeness of man who was created in the image of God” was for him a living, daily, true and sincere thing. Noam’s love for the children expressed the tenderness and purity of his soul. Over the years, and even after his induction, Noam was a partner in the kindergarten, his mother’s workplace. He took advantage of his computer skills to prepare work pages and coloring, stories in illustration and more. In his spare time, he worked on the Burger King chain where he was shown with all his devotion and diligence. His colleagues, who loved him and appreciated him very much, noted his great help, his kindness, his joie de vivre, and his eternal smile. Noam enlisted in the IDF on 28.11.2007 for the air force’s anti-aircraft system and underwent basic training as a combatant in Barkan. He did his basic training in the “Stinger” Tactical Track, specializing in military subjects, and was very proud of being a soldier and fighter in the Israel Defense Forces. After his death, he found in his file a letter he wrote while securing the settlements in Har Bracha, testifying to his faith in the path he chose: “… It is very difficult to guard, there are no hours of sleep, but all this makes me a man. Jobnik in the Kirya, because then I will feel that I am not exhausting myself.I will feel emptiness. I want to serve my country with respect … “Noam expressed his special connection with his parents in a letter he wrote in one of the reserves:” … It was important for me to write this letter, although it is hard for me and all my thoughts and longing for you cause tears to begin to flow. I want to continue in the army, no matter what happens. … It is very hard for me because I am very attached to you and to the home in general. Not seeing the house for so long and so little time is the hardest in the world. … As far as I’m concerned, I want to be in the territories or in Gaza and grind all day and all night, the main thing is that I know that at the end of the week I will return to the beautiful house, the cool room and the good friends. That’s all I ask! “Noam’s friends and commanders described him as” a true friend, full of joie de vivre. Devotion and sensitivity merged with directness and amazing simplicity and created a modest, pleasant, and loved person … “On Wednesday, February 6, 2008, Noam fell in the line of duty. When he returned from military training Noam sat on a rock with his friends at the base, and during the conversation collapsed and fell. The medical team’s efforts to save him failed, and on his way to the hospital he died. Noam stormed into the sky at the height of his blossoming, with incredible suddenness, in his characteristic silence, leaving his family stunned and hurt. He was nineteen when he fell. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Rehovot. Survived by his parents, brother and sister. On his tombstone were engraved the words “Our angel Noam is a symbol of purity of giving and humility / We will remember you forever in our hearts with longing and love.” After his fall he was promoted to corporal. Things his mother carried: Under this mound lay the flower of my love, the flesh of my flesh, the joy of my soul, the joy of my children. In vain I will try to stop my pain, my tears are running away. God, who created and created the heart of man and soul, you know what a child is dear to his mother, you know the capillaries and thickets in which a mother’s heart forbids her child and embraces him. And while death puts his cold hand on the boy and rips it off her heart, too, tears and leaves him bleeding. Please me, do not be in my heart for my pain, pity me with my agony, close my heart to your divine comfort, and give strength to bear the loss and dance. “You have given and you shall take your name blessed.” Our Father in heaven, the good and the beneficent, give my child, as a white angel, to look down upon me whose image he has never won before. As I am about to sin before you, let His voice warn me of the danger, His eye will shine upon me at the time of the commandment, and when I am asked to be raised up, let him receive my face. Amen. On his grave, his aunt, Deborah, eulogized him: “Our Noam, but it is heavy on all of us / Yesterday evening, when we learned of the tragedy, the heart of us all stopped beating. You have friends in the world. / Dear Noam! / From heaven Keep them all / Love you, embrace you, and forever you will remain in our hearts. ” Noam, commander of the unit, Lt. Col. Yoni Seida Marom, said: “Your desire to be a warrior embodies your determination, which, along with your modesty and sensitivity, have made you feel like a soldier of values who loved to help and support his friends. Noam – you were pleasant, you stood out in the team as an ethical soldier, your comrades in arms remember someone who can hug and shoulder in difficult moments, and your fall is a great loss for all of us. ” Eulogized the commander Eran Ben-Hamo: “… You served in the IDF for a few months, but you could identify qualities and buds that characterize a true leader. You have led in your humble way, respectful and respectful of your friends with strength and inner peace … You were the salt of the earth and the best of its sons. “The school principal and educator,”Despite your young age, you had clear dreams about what you would like to do when you grew up, from service to the state to academic studies, and to the success of life. … these dreams will be with you and will be stored away forever. Noam’s family has set a goal of instilling his legacy in future generations and commemorates many commemorative activities in his memory. In the home of his family there are Torah classes and every Shabbat we recite psalms for his soul. On April 1, 2008, Noam’s nineteenth birthday, friends, soldiers and family gathered in the family home. Moshe, Noam ‘s father, spoke: “You can not stand your separation because your presence is everywhere, and your laughter and the light of your face will never be forgotten … I love you more than death. If you dream in a dream for a few seconds to enjoy your modesty and light, your presence has spread happiness to all the other members of the household and to your family, neighbors, friends and acquaintances. On 15 May 2008, an evening was held in memory of Noam at ORT Rehovot. On this occasion Adi Gedassy read a poem which she wrote: “Why did fate choose him specifically? / A sweet angel, an angel of soul / / We want the angel here with us / yelling and yelling at the sky: / Noam will return the wings and come back to us.” His good friend Orgad Mahluf added: “Noam is my dear brother, life is not the same life anymore, everything is not the same anymore … I look at your pictures, you are so alive, so with us. Every picture emphasizes your occupying smile … misses you so much. ” His friend, Natalie, added: “You are given from us a righteous and pure, straight to the Creator, and you have left us, overwhelmed and overwhelmed, you have given me so much and I am sorry I could have given you so little. To be a part of your life, that I knew you and your pleasant manner and that you taught me true friendship, what! ” Noam’s friends wrote to the unit: “A month has already passed and we are without you, feeling your absence every moment … The joy that you brought with us is no longer with us and instead you would create a great space … … you have the positive traits and values that we have learned in extraordinary ways – the joy of life, the permanent smile on your face, the bad and the concern for all … … we will love forever. ” On July 6, 2008, Noam’s friends and relatives gathered in the family home to reconstruct his last moments and reminisce. The words were gathered in a special album. Ruthie, Tami and Yael wrote: “… you were a friend of all of them, a stronghold of love, caring and humane and friendly attitude, always smiling, full of life, energetic with sensitivity and gentleness.” In November 2008, a tree was planted in memory of Noam at the Naval School at the base where Noam gave his life in the planting ceremony: “You plant a sapling, a small tree, watching how it grows and develops … He kisses and embraces them, with warmth and love, and does not stop looking at him with open admiration, protecting him with all his care, yet he is protected by the shadow of his protective branches, the giants and the strong, as if he were protecting you . He is like a close friend, a confidant, a source of strength and pride, and suddenly he is cut off for no reason and we miss him so much. It was as pleasant as the tree, it is impossible to describe how great it was, larger than life, worthy of great admiration and boundless appreciation. We were small in front of it, in the face of its many talents and abilities,With a smile that is charming and shy, energetic, determined … Noam, leaving all of us weeping and hurting. We miss you like a thousand years. Every day that passes by longing for you only goes deeper and deeper. Noam, we are all here for you, but you, the guest of honor, can not come. “The head of the Kiryat Ekron council, Arik Hadad, in cooperation with the Israel Forever Association, are working to establish a youth home in the name of Noam, and his mother explained the purpose of the project: Noam is a bridge between all of his friends and is a bridge between all of them, in the establishment of a youth house named after him – “Beit Noam” – there is a suitability between his personality and a place that carries character and practical expression of his way of life as a center that will be a magnet for life creation, education dimensions and values by way of love and bringing hearts , And as a center for social activity and action, as befits the noble figure of Noam when the motto in his short life was: “His ways are pleasant ways All its paths are peaceful. ” Noam’s name was immortalized in the kindergarten in Mazkeret Batya. On the day of the inauguration of the kindergarten, his mother said: “… in front of the charming children who are symbols of growth and renewal, the garden is named after our son Noam … which is a symbol of the end of childhood, love and giving … It is for us a kind of reviving the memory of our Noam, A child who will be loved and will live in a kindergarten that is a place of life, research and learning, growth and renewal, a little consolation that will be remembered in the world of childish activity and the joy of creation. “He said. In memory of Noam, a memorial site was established on the Internet, including his biography, words written in his memory, lighting of memorial candles, pictures, poems, writings and more. “The stars have many stars / stars and they illuminate the earth / And there is a strong star / star named Noam / a special and glowing star / And the sky is blue blue / And a special star called Noam / Meir the earth / Noam the Star / who make our nights fun. ” Michal Azani wrote: “… You were the light of the house, an outstanding student, generous and courteous, always with a captivating smile, a wonderful son, a loyal friend, an amazing brother, a grandchild who respects wholeheartedly and does not forget to visit, , In my heart there will always remain a child like an angel, protect us from above and make sure that we all succeed and live beside you. ” Sivan Weiss wrote: “The stage has come to be completed, you want to believe that you have reached the eternal rest that you have found among the angels, and that you have guarded us from above, every time I look at the sky, you are there among the clouds! Fly / you want to go on / with a half-smile up to a million stars in the sky / catch your color in the eyes / just one more second to say hello to you. ” “My dear brother, when you entered my life, it was for a certain purpose, to support, to love, to help, to be who you were and to share with me a time that was unfortunately very short, thank you for being part of my life. You are an angel of all, I miss you dear brother, the question is always asked why, why my brother, why my brother, the heart cries, the soul cries, loving and full of longing. The brother wrote, Ohad: “Noam, my dear brother, it’s hard for me to write, my hand trembles, how can I think of you in the past?” “Yesterday we ate dinner together before you returned to the base. With the harsh reality, you were Father’s pride, Mother’s angel, Sham’s confidanteRit and my dear friend who gives a lot of strength to continue the journey. Lots of adjectives suit you and yet you do not. Since that terrible day, everything has changed. The happy things also take on a different character. The joy is incomplete because you share in joy, but from above. Watching, watching and smiling with your eternal and conquering smile. The longing gnawed mercilessly, day after day – for an hour or so, they gave no rest to the soul and the question always came to her: Could this have happened? You are a strong and healthy child! If so then why? And there is no repentance. It has been over a year but your room has not changed, all your belongings and clothes are arranged and waiting for your return. We know that perhaps you are not here in the body but you are with us in heart and soul, accompanying us around the clock. Please Noam, give strength to my father and mother, to Shimrit and me, and to the entire family and friends – because it is difficult to separate. Ask the Creator to praise us and give some respite to the soul. I visit you in your new flower-filled house and tell you how the week went by and what was new, consoling and asking for a blessing. Your picture accompanies me every morning during morning prayers, your smile as if to say: “Be strong my brother, I guard from above.” I am proud of you. Your qualities are admirable. Despite your young age demonstrating maturity, wisdom, sensitivity, altruism and earth. You are very dear to me, my dear brother, I love you with all my heart and miss you. Fan.
