Niyazov, Nissim


Ben Miriam and Jacob. Born on March 28, 1975 in Jerusalem, brother to Baruch, Rafi, Neria and Itzik. Nissim began his studies at the Ramot State Religious School. He studied Jewish studies at the Ohel Mo’ed school and at Bnei Zion Yeshiva, spent another year studying at the Citrin youth village and studied printing in the Kfar Chabad Yeshiva for four years. He was a member of a religious family and was very moved by religious visions and piyyutim, which attests to a soul that yearns to approach its creator through poetry and thanksgiving. All his acquaintances testify that above all else, the love of man stood out in him, and he did a great deal of kindness with everyone, and helped in everything that could lead to devotion. In December 1995, Nissim was drafted into the IDF and after serving in the publishing department at the headquarters of the Chief Engineering Officer and worked as a typist, he performed his duties in the best possible way, excelled in his work and was raised to the rank of sergeant. On September 23, 1998, Nissim fell in the line of duty in a road accident and was twenty-three years old. He was brought to eternal rest in accordance with the custom of the Bukharan community, of which he belonged, in the Sanhedria cemetery. Survived by his parents and four brothers. After his fall, he was promoted to First Sergeant. Chief of Staff Shaul Mofaz wrote to the grieving family: “Nissim was described by his commanders as an outstanding soldier who performed his missions in the best possible way while giving a personal example to those around him at all times. “The commander of the unit, Lt. Col. Yoram, wrote:” We all knew how to appreciate and love the person in him, his kindness, his constant concern for his family and his friends, and his desire to meet all the demands The combination of joy, playfulness and youthful vigor, combined with a sense of developed responsibility, diligence, initiative and the unflagging desire to contribute and help, these qualities stood out among Nissim, were part of him and made him love his commanders and friends. ” A tree was planted in the Jerusalem hills by Rabbi Yonatan Flerman and Mrs. Dina Lipsky.
