He was born in 1943 in Iraq and immigrated to Israel in 1951. He studied at the Talpiot School in Jerusalem and was a diligent student and an avid soccer fan, and from an early age he helped his parents to bear the burden of supporting the family, He was a quiet and modest young man, a serious young man, who took his leisure time and appreciated his devotion and fair and friendly attitude to his friends. 1961 and served in the Armored Corps. He successfully passed various professional courses and was certified as a tank driver and other types of armored vehicles. His commanders admired him as an exemplary man, an outstanding driver and a disciplined and beloved soldier for all the soldiers and commanders of the unit. After being released from regular service he was placed in a reserve unit. From time to time he was called for periods of reserve duty and also participated in the Six Day War as a tank driver. After his discharge he worked for a while with his friends and partners and then started his own business. He was very devoted to his parents, personally renovated their home and even started to build his own home, near the parents’ home, to be nearby. In the Yom Kippur War, Avraham was drafted and sent as a tank driver to Sinai. He participated in the braking battles that his battalion waged against the Egyptians. In a battle that took place on October 14, 1973, his tank was hit by an anti-tank missile, and he was brought to eternal rest at the Mount Herzl cemetery in Jerusalem, leaving behind his parents and five brothers and sisters.
