Yitzhak, son of Schindel and Hirsch, a Holocaust survivor, was born on January 10, 1947, in Szczecin, Poland. Yitzhak was drafted into the IDF in mid-November 1964. His tank was hit by a direct hit and he was killed. he was buiried in Kiryat Shaul Military Cemetery, where he left behind a wife and two daughters, one of whom was born after his death, parents and sister, and was raised to the rank of sergeant.
