Son of Heftziba and Moshe. He was born on the 22nd of September 1927 in the Soviet Union. When he was about 6 years old, Nathan immigrated with his family to Israel. He began his elementary studies at the “Example” school in Tel Aviv, and completed his studies in Haifa. Nathan began his high school studies at Kibbutz Ayelet Hashahar in an educational program, and later acquired the matriculation certificate in external studies. He was an outstanding athlete, and he maintained his capacity throughout his life. In his youth, Nathan played soccer in the Hapoel youth team in Haifa. He also knew how to play piano, and during his leisure time he played with his friends’ enjoyment and enjoyment. In 1948, he joined the IDF and served in the Gadna division of Kibbutz Ayelet Hashahar, where he underwent a signal course and became a member in 1950. After completing his regular service, , And continued his service until 1952. After his release, he was employed as a civilian in the army and was the commander of the course for officers of the IDF. In 1951, he married his girlfriend Tzvia, whom he met during his regular service, and a year later his eldest son, Uzi, was born. In 1955 his daughter Ruthie was born. In 1956, Natan underwent an officers’ course and became a lieutenant colonel. At the time, he worked at Bank Leumi in Ramat Gan, and in 1959 resigned and moved to Bank Leumi. His family grew up, and when he had another daughter – Geula he was discovered as a father and an exemplary husband, dedicated and caring for his family, educating his children to the love of the land and keeping their studies and education. For a long time, Natan worked in two jobs, in order to provide his family with an adequate standard of living, and in order not to miss his wife and children. As a citizen he was called for periods of reserve duty, and he always fulfilled his duty fully. He participated in all of Israel’s wars, and in 1969 was promoted to captain. At the time, Natan decided to return to the army to serve in the regular army, in order to contribute his knowledge and skills to the IDF during the period in which many officers left the career army and the army needed to fill its ranks. In 1973, Nathan was promoted to the rank of Major, and two years later was appointed as the Budget Officer of the Southern Command, and on June 5, 1979, , Nathan fell while serving. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. He left behind a wife, a son and two daughters.
