Malka, Hanania
Son of Esther and Yaish. Hanania was born in Morocco on August 24, 1951. He was the fourth son of the Malka family, a family of nine brothers and sisters. Eight of the children were born in Morocco and the ninth was born in Israel. Hanania began his studies at the Alliance elementary school in Morocco. Hanania immigrated to Israel with his family in 1963. After immigrating to Israel he continued his studies at Yeshurun school in Ashkelon. Hanania was a child beloved to his family and friends. He helped his mother with housework, shopping and raising children. Helping others was a central feature of his character. His kindness and kindness were among his friends in Ashkelon. There was a special love for his parents and his family, who were most precious to him. In 1970, Hanania enlisted in the IDF and served in the Nahal Brigade in Battalion 50. After completing his service in the army, on May 21, 1975, Hanania volunteered to serve in the Border Police. At first, Hanania served in Company 14, and on June 10, 1975, served as a combat soldier. After completing a course for recruits he decided at the Border Police school in Beit Horon, where he served in Company 13, where he served until his death. Hananiah was very fond of his service in the Border Police, and his commanders testify that he was a fighter with excellent character traits and volunteered for every mission beyond the obligation of a regular soldier. He underwent medical treatment in various settings until his death on the 20th of Tevet 5737 (10.1.1977). Hananya fell while serving. He was twenty-six when he fell. He was buried in the military cemetery in Ashkelon.
