Born in Kibbutz Beit Hashita on May 18, 1950, Gilo was a very intelligent and talented child, and began her studies at the kibbutz elementary school, skipping first grade and jumping straight to second grade. At the beginning of December 1968, Gila enlisted in the IDF, the Intelligence Corps. Survived husband and two children. “The sudden death of Gilo is a disaster not only for you, her family, but also for us, and we, her colleagues, will miss her.” It is not easy for me to express the feelings of all of us when a person like Gila disappears, Suddenly, forever, from the human view of the unit, twenty years of continuous service with us were cut off, Gila was in the systems section from the beginning, and was the first fighting and draftsman in the section, and she was among the partners in determining the methods and high standards in the field of electronic production Pride in the unit, which is actually a development unit, and was actively involved in the unit’s achievements and successes Who have contributed to the country’s security, and has been recognized as an electronics technician and has been recognized as an electronics technician, and has gained recognition for her excellence as a person. Her dedication and willingness to work during unseemly days and hours, combined with her pleasantness and patience, made her acceptable to everyone – both co-workers and commanders and managers … The only one was a house and a family two for her age … Anyone who saw her colleagues from the department and from the unit, , Can understand the love, appreciation and strong connection, That Gilo and Eli had created around them. And anyone who passes through the corridor and a systems room near the first war room will remember the image of Gilo at the first table. “
