Levin, Liran Aharon

The eldest son of Rachel and Eliyahu. He was born in Kiryat Tivon in the spring season, on the holiday of Passover, on March 30, 1975. Liran joined the IDF on August 20, 1995, and served as a technician in the Air Force’s “trainer”, In Squadron 117 at Ramat David. He performed his duties with dedication and professionalism. It was not for nothing that Liran was a candidate for the “Outstanding Soldier” award, but he was unable to do so because of his youth. Liran fell in the line of duty on July 16, 1997 while guarding the settlement of Tal Menashe. He was twenty-two when he fell. He was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Kiryat Tivon. Survived by parents, brother and two sisters.
