Levi, Amir

Son of Anat and Yitzhak. He was born on September 28, 1986 in Ganei Tikva. November 2004, Amir joined the Israel Defense Forces, Battalion 101 of the Paratroopers Brigade. Amir invested all his energies, his willpower and the passion of his youth in military service. Before his parents’ eyes, he grew up quickly and became a boy to a mature and motivated soldier, whose spirit of friendship, responsibility and aspiration for excellence characterize him. Amir completed basic training as a model soldier in the Shahar company, and was later assigned to the operational company, where he stood out and was admired by all his friends. Amir returned to the course of the advanced training course and returned to serve in the operational company, and at the end of the course he expressed his desire to serve as a squad commander, in addition to the extraordinary experience and experience of being a commander. Amir was able to finish his job after completing his basic training and was scheduled to leave for an officer’s course. Amir’s commander in basic training, the company’s deputy commander, Yitzhak Friedman, spoke of Amir’s excellence, which characterized him throughout his military career: “… Amir was excellent in everything … especially in the sense of full exhaustion and even beyond that of all abilities: (Brigade units), in which he had exhausted all his abilities, and although he had no exceptional physical data, he completed his studies with honors in one of the first places, with a very high grade. Was in basic training and advanced training, in which Amir had exhausted all his abilities. Amir did not lead, which made him become a “rabbi of Pekal.” In the field of shooting, Amir was prominent and became a bullet, and his leadership ability was expressed and quickly turned him into a squad commander, Who is the best combat soldier in the company, despite many physical difficulties – leg fractures, eye inflammation, and certainly other hazards that I do not know – Amir did not lose One training day during the entire training period, and never reached the doctor or even the company medic … All of this was done by Amir in the inner quiet that so characterized him. In light of all this, Amir was chosen as a company model at the end of the training period in the brigade, and received a certificate of excellence from the commander of the Irgun. Wanted to leave him at the school for infantry professions as a guide, when he learned two weeks before the end that he was sickMad to remain ‘guided’ began to ‘throw’ (as far as he knew to do it …) and indeed achieved what he wanted and returned to the battalion as a fighter. At the end of the course, Amir was assigned as a combat soldier in the combat unit of the Operational Company, and despite the fact that Amir had ordered him to come and command, he continued to excel as a plain guard along with his colleagues in the platoon. Indeed, after four months his wish was fulfilled, and Amir was sent to command new recruits. Amir was found to be an excellent commander and was therefore scheduled to leave for the upcoming officers’ course. “Sergeant Amir Levy fell during his service on May 13, 2006, in a car accident on Begin Road, near his home in Zichron Yaakov. He was brought to rest in the military section of Zichron Yaakov, and was survived by his parents and two brothers,
