His friends tell him about the model policeman and the model he used to be. Israel was married to Galila and father to Zvika and Ronit. He was an honest and loyal husband, and an excellent father. He was very attached to his family and especially the children, and loved everyone. He did not miss anything of his children and loved to pamper them. Israel had many members, both in citizenship and in service. His relatives tell of his sense of humor, of the help he used to give to others, and of his love for the sea – “to the point of madness.” Israel loved both fishing and swimming. Sports, soccer, and nature walks were his soul. An Israeli policeman was killed while carrying out his duties on December 9, 1975.
