Klugaft, Shmuel (Shmulik)

Ben Haya and Meir-Ze’ev. He was born on 29.8.1975 in Bat Yam. A brother to Michal, Moriah and Moshe. Shmulik began his studies at the “Tachkemoni” State Religious Primary School, continued his junior high school at Yeshivat Bnei Akiva Adar, and graduated from the Bar-Ilan high-tech religious high school in the real-biological track. During his studies, Shmulik was active in the “Bnei Akiva” youth movement, in the “HaMabasher” tribe in Bat Yam. Shmulik loved the landscapes of the country and its sites. He used to take walks along the length and breadth, bicycle trips and adventurous abseiling trips. Another hobby was art and composition, which required delicate hand skills. Shmulik was a devoted and loving son. Family matters preoccupied him greatly and were a source of satisfaction and pleasure. He gave infinite warmth and attention, and helped to help the household members with consideration and sensitivity to the needs of others. After completing his high school studies, Shmulik joined the Har Etzion hesder yeshiva, where he was drafted into the IDF in late July 1994, but due to a lack of vision he was refused entry to the Golani Brigade, who tried to cope with the challenge of serving as a combat soldier in an infantry unit, His contribution would be of the greatest importance, he refused to accept the rejection. He repeated his request to the emergency officers until it was approved. At the end of the first period of service in the brigade, in which he successfully completed all the tasks assigned to him, he was trained during the second service as a combat medic and assigned to the officers’ training school. 1. Strength and determination accompanied him throughout his career. And his desire to contribute to every framework he took part in. His friends, teachers and commanders described him as a serious and humble young man whose joy of life, kindness and generosity were fond of him. In the army, he would keep repeating the material he had learned … when I would return to the room and Shmulik would chew By reading first-aid books, he would hide them under a blanket or pillow, so I would not see him interested in it. When I asked him, ‘Why do you bother to hide your interest in first aid?’ He would reply, ‘There is no need for everyone to know that I am investing in order to help when necessary …’ On the one hand, Shmulik was very quiet … even a little shy. shy. He would not force himself into all sorts of things. But on the other hand, those who know him know that he was very active, writing and initiating, organizing things and constantly involved in activities. On the face of it, the qualities seemed contradictory, but in Shmulik it was very clear: he was a worker, initiator and organizer – but he did everything quietly and modestly … “Shmulik was also active in MDA during the army, , And during his free time he helped young students study sacred subjects. He demonstrated great knowledge of the Bible and served as a reader of the Torah, knowledgeable and outstanding, in many synagogues in his city. When he came to his parents’ home for Shabbat, he used to say words of Torah for the enjoyment of the family. Shmulik was busy writing them the night before the visit, until they seemed sufficient enough to renew and enrich the world of his listeners. After his military service, he planned to begin computer studies at the university. On the 18th of Nisan 5757 (25.4.1997) Shmulik fell in the line of duty. He was twenty-one years old when he fell. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Holon. Survived by his parents, two sisters – Michal and Moriah, and brother – Moshe. After his fall, he found a varied literary legacy of articles and Torah that he left behind. Remember his immortalized in the eveningAnd a series of lectures and lectures in the Yeshiva of Bnei Akiva Aderet in Bat Yam. courage. A true Torah son, anxious to speak the Lord – this is Halakha … You were a true Torah scholar. All your rabbis praise your curiosity and your diligence, and the tremendous desire to know, understand, and deepen your research. We have all seen with astonishment the great efforts that you have invested in your Talmud … We have never been allowed, in your life, to say praise to you, you would not have allowed us … to say good-bye. A young man whose appearance says tenderness and tenderness and strong inner character and determined character … “On the eve of learning in his memory, his brother read farewells which he wrote:” I ask my brother for a long long walk and he has not come back yet. / And left us to carry it on the back of our memory until the end of the road / until the last day – he did not, he would not go on our side anymore. My brother, I ask for my brother, his wife, his sons and daughters and their sons, the whole family / he will not have, and we will not have the following pictures in the family album. “My brother, I ask you, my brother who loved life, and life knew how to love him twenty-one springs, seven moons, and twenty-four days and an hour and a half.” A scientific book called Sha’arei Shmuel reads Shmulik’s works In various aspects of the Land of Israel.
