Kachlon, Moshe
Moshe, son of Bruria and David, was born on the 13th of Tishrei 5713 (13.10.1952) in Hadera. His childhood and youth were spent in Netanya, where he grew up and was educated. He studied at the Moriah Elementary School and later completed his studies at the Neurim Youth High School in his hometown. Moshe was a shy and comfortable boy, with large black eyes, who were always smiling. He was a cheerful boy, loving laughter and laughter, so he was always surrounded by friends and friends who loved to be with him. By nature he excelled in the love of people, large and small alike. He was always willing to help anyone. A leaky faucet, a malfunction in the electricity system – and Moses came to the rescue, a child to weep – and Moses soothed him. Late at night he was ready to run to call a doctor for a sick neighbor, even having to walk a long distance after a hard day’s work. Moshe loved life, was lively and alert, and gave a sense of security to those around him. Nevertheless, he remained as shy in his youth as he had been in his childhood, and when someone spoke in praise he would blush and look for a place to hide his embarrassment. His most important hobby was his Vespa. Which was very important for its integrity and propriety, and a kind of “evil” relationship was established between them. Even nicknames gave her and sometimes it seemed to him that he was a human being. Moshe was drafted into the IDF in early February 1971 and volunteered for the Paratroopers Brigade, fulfilling an old childhood dream: he loved the army very much, and if possible, he was ahead of the time of his enlistment. But as long as there was no such peace, he was prepared to die for the protection of his homeland, and his relationship with his parents’ house was very tight. The Yom Kippur War was Moshe’s home, and without a pause he went out on his Vespa to enlist his comrades, and soon he went to the front. (17.10.1973) In the area of the “Chinese farm”, Moshe was injured and died of blood loss, after he could not be rescued for many hours, and he was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery. Who left behind his parents, two sisters, and a brother, and was promoted to the rank of First Sergeant.
