Isaac, David

Son of Refael and Hazana. Born on February 22, 1950 in Iraq, David immigrated to Israel when he immigrated to Israel and settled in Ashkelon, where he studied at the Rambam Elementary School and at the religious high school in Ashkelon. He was an avid sports fan and especially liked the football game, which he was very active in. During that time he was a member of the “Hanoar Haoved” club and stood out in his cheerfulness and humor. From childhood he had excelled in many talents. He had a quick and sharp perception, a deep analytical ability, and a brilliant ability to express himself. He left behind a bunch of songs, some of which are sung to this day by his friends. Was a pacifist by nature and strongly opposed the war, but knowing that the ideal must be distinguished from the demands of reality, he went to serve in the army. David was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in May 1968 and served in the Golani Brigade, but was sent off to the Israel Air Force. He was taken to eternal rest in the cemetery in Ashkelon, and his friend wrote: “I knew David from childhood. We followed him with his eyes closed. We knew that what he decided was the right way – – – we all admired him for his right logic and his devotion to the cause. “
